Travelling along the road of life we encounter many people.

We are all imperfect beings, singed by sin - some more than others. 

How can we expect another to know every nuance in our temperament!

Of course there will be times when we are hurt by another. We are easily offended!

How can we overcome this hurt and not return the ugly words to the party who lashed out at us?

I have found the answer in the Holy Bible; a book full of Holy Wisdom from God, that is like a beautiful balm to the soul.

Even when you think you don't need any balm, it's words cover us like a perfumed luxurious moisturizing cream, nourishing every pore, softening and calming the emotions in our soul.

Do you need that now? Are you suffering hurt and discouragement?

Perhaps you are not hurt but you wonder if there is more to life? Your past has not been kind and you have overcome in your own way, but still feel an emptiness you cannot describe because all worldly needs are fulfilled?

Maybe you are accomplished in this world, have made millions, and you're a rock star! You don't want for anything. You help the underprivileged, and are kind to your family and friends.

Yet, you too are niggled by something so small and prickly that you know there is something you are missing.

None of the above conditions apply to some who may read this but yet, there is a knowing of something more to life you have not experienced or encountered.

Take the time to read the Blog entries, (without advertisements) to find out for yourself if the information on this site is the thing that will quench that thirst.

It costs nothing. It is free.You can stop reading any time. And no information is gathered about you personally in any way; only God knows.

I hope you find the Living Water that quenches the thirst of the soul and spirit within us, and in so doing, you find a Friend like no other.

About this website blog...   

Seeking to inform, inspire, encourage, uplift, any person young, old or in-between about the One who has filled me with hope and forgiven me for the past. If I can know and understand the things of God, then I should share with others who wonder, ask, seek, or are in a dark place and cannot see the light of God's love for them. In fact, He instructs us to do that in His Word - the Holy Bible.
 

This site is a portal where I hope you can come and find a peaceful and wonderful world in which Jesus dwells. I hope you hear Him speaking to you here as a Friend and Companion, as well as a Saviour, Redeemer.

I hope to post regularly the words I feel led to write.  

If you find it is not for you then I hope you will return at other times to find that gem that He will use to get your attention and bless you with an "ah-ha" moment. Perhaps you will shed a tear or many tears for a Truth you learn. Maybe you will be indignant at something, or ready to scorn what you read, but later see that He was correct. Who knows.

It's all, and more, happened to me over the last 40+ years. My journey has been from attending Sunday School from a very early age to turning my back to Him during teen years and early years of marriage to being drawn back to Him in a long slow process of wanting to explore other religious beliefs. This took up many years, but always there was the golden Cross in my dreams and thoughts.

So the little Holy Bible presented at Sunday School for graduating to being able to teach young children, was always my comfort during those years. Finally the Word of God brought me into a fellowship with My Saviour, through reading and being ministered to by the Spirit which I did not realize was happening until many years later.

The Lord bless you as you open your mind to "hearing" His Word in the form of Holy Scriptures which I will use to inspire my writing on this website.
