A Lifetime

Friend, we only have one lifetime to live on the earth.

James 4:14
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

Seeing as how God has created us to live only this one life, shouldn't we seek after Him, knowing that we will die in a determined, foreknown, way and time, by Him?

We see others, friends and family, speaking of God, praying to Jesus, singing songs for Him; yet we obstinately hold up the hand in rejection to anything we think even slightly smells of the sweetness of Jesus.

It's a deep seated selfishness that rises to the surface which tells our inner soul that we don't need to adhere to anything Biblical; we don't need others to pray for us, nor do we need to talk to God.

But Christians, are hoping for the day when you, an unbeliever, will say, you have joined them in belief.

A Christian should never hate an unbeleiver. We all have fallen short of God's Righteousness.

God's people hate the sin that keeps the unbeliever from accepting Jesus as King of their soul.

We do not hate the person because Jesus died for that person and we were once that person.

A Christian knows how sin is like a veil over our eyes; the sinner cannot see it, many times.

Sin is something that takes us on a journey away from God.

It entices us and entangles us, and we cannot extricate ourselves from it by our own will and have it gone completely, (the desire gone, and an utter disgust at the thought of partaking again, remains once Jesus comes into our lives and removes the sin from our humbled and willing heart.)

John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Once we die in sin having not accepted Jesus as Saviour, God's Wrath is upon us, fully. It means we have not accepted His Son and therefore, He will not accept us. There will be no place for us in the afterlife with Him, but only the place of rejection of God by sinner's.

We get what we always wanted. A world without Him, and Christians.

But everyone there is aware of God and is broken by their stupidity and stubbornness when they see that God made every attempt to reveal His Goodness to them. He gave His Son, no less!

For sinners. For while we were sinners, Christ died for us.

Friend, think about the times we are living in. God is sending a message. He allows mankind to be ridiculously foolish and look what mankind is doing.

Another war.

That's our answer as a world wide pandemic is waning a little for a moment.

Life is fleeting.
