Willing and Forgiving
Friend, the Bible warns us not to seek and search after another human being to fulfill us.
The Bible reveals to us that God is Enough.
Filling ourselves with learning to know Him through reading His Word, will fill every nook and cranny of our being with joyfulness that creates happiness in our lives.
We see with His eyes, we feel with His touch, we hear as He hears.
Our spirit is reviled at evil's ways, the things it does to our loved ones, the illnesses it's presence has carelessly dropped into the world we live in, and all the anger and hate it promotes.
Another human can support us, but it may not be the Godly support we truly need for our journey here; it doesn't have the Power that only God has.
The world has it's ways and God has His Ways.
His Ways are best for us.
He knows the hour we will depart this life and He has allowed us this journey in order to be reunited with Him.
Our first love must be Him.
All He brings our way after we become born again of the Spirit, is Gifts from Him for our well-being physically and emotionally as He helps us walk through the consequences of the myriad of bad choices and mistakes we have made.
He sees when the evil ones are plotting and planning to convince us that we do not need Him. He sees when we choose their ways and not His.
Many of us spend our whole life with our head turned away from Him.
It's deliberate. We like to fool ourselves and say, "No, that's not what I'm doing," but in God Reality, it is exactly what we are doing.
When evil has brought us to our knees, ruined our life, taken all our possessions, broken up our families, it then coerces us into looking for "something else spiritual" - other than God.
But, friend, God is the Source of all things Good, and Holy and Trustworthy and Truthful.
To be God of All Creation, He must be so, wouldn't you agree?
All those prayers we pray to anything other than Father God Amighty, Jesus the Son of God or the Holy Spirit, are prayers for the evil ones to be entertained by. We don't stand a chance of getting them answered from a statue, an animal, the planets or "Mother nature."
No, the Living God is moved by our love and faith in Him.
Jesus says in The Holy Word, that "your faith has healed you," to the blind man after asking him if he was "willing" to receive sight.
So three things led to the blind man gaining sight from Jesus.
He asked Jesus. He indicated that he knew Jesus could heal him as he had heard about Jesus, that He was descended from King David and the Scriptures said the Messiah would come through the line of David.
The blind man trusted the Scriptures and he said he was willing to receive sight from Jesus.
He received sight because of his willingness to be healed, his faith in God and trust in the Scriptures.
Some people aren't willing to let go of their unhealthy body. They are used to existing in it even though they say they want healing. But having to agree and commit to God is the barrier.
Once we know Who Jesus Is, accept Him as God; commit to Him forevermore, spend time with Him in communication of our choice, realize we are sinners, repent of our sin because it repulses our spirit, ask for Forgiveness, and love Him, the blessings that are what we need for our soul and spirit to feel whole, are released from Heaven.
One of those blessings may be a life partner that God has chosen for us to work out the consequences of our sin with.
Someone we can bless and someone who blesses us in the physical. Someone we must learn to forgive as Christ forgave us and someone who will forgive our daily mistakes so we learn that forgiveness, a to and fro are important to God and the Kingdom.
Look around and observe the amount of forgiving that needs to go on in this world at every level, the personal one on one with another human, the corporate forgiveness of races to races, the forgiveness of race to race, the community level, the nation level.
How are we ever going to get peace?
We, as individuals, must be willing to admit with our heart, mind, soul and spirit that He is Who He says He is.
We must admit that He alone is All Powerful.
We must know in our heart that He is Good.
We must believe His Word.
We must commit to Him as Father, Son and Spirit of our lives; Trust in Him!
If we do these things we realize every human has worth; every human is just as lost as we were; deserves to know about Him; can receive Forgiveness just as we have, both from Him and from others.
Yes we must be willing and forgiving.
