Be Brave

Friend, God calls us to be brave.

We must be courageous in order to gain Eternal Life.

God wants us to be full of Life.

He wants us to be the salt of the earth.

The flavour of the earth!

He needs us to be willing partners with Him in seeking out the lost and pointing them to the Cross.

The Holy Spirit is present with our soul night and day.

It's up to us to listen and trust Him.

He carries out the Will of the Lord, Who sent Him to be with man, after our Lord was crucified, and Resurrected.

He wants us to make spiritual progress during our lifespan, and does all He can, according to His Law which He will never break, trying to bring us back into the fold of Heaven..

It's such a short lifespan, and we do not know when our soul will be required to depart the body.

But, God does, and He is always warning us in many ways; that we should turn our heads to Him and acknowledge Him, learn of Him, and place our trust in Him.

If we are honest with ourselves, we know that we have had little inklings, nudges, and outright close calls where God has acted to warn us, teach or guide us, and we have ignored them. It takes an enormous amount of courage and bravery to trust God and believe everything the Bible says about Him.

Christians liken it to stepping off a high cliff into the unknown, being caught up by the Lord, placed on a solid mountaintop in the rarefied air of the born again believers, who live to do the Will of God.

It is a Law of Heaven that we must progress from our current state to one of Godliness in Christ, through the help of the Spirit.

The Beauty and Knowledge that we find when we take the brave step is beyond imagination and tailored to each one of us and our spiritual needs.

God is more interested in the spiritual because the body is under the power of the prince of this world, the devil - satan.

But God can and will when it is spiritually correct for us, relieve us of body issues and heal us.

Satan cannot do more to us than God allows or we allow.

If we are firmly entrenched in the hole with satan then we can expect a lot of problems.

Because satan uses them to draw us away from God, and God gives us the free will to do so.

Satan loves to see us point the finger at God for our troubles, as we cry, whine, and complain.

In fact it is satan himself who has orchestrated our troubles and instigated the constant pressure that leads to us either falling on our knees before God for help, or flailing at Him in anger and resentment.

But we need to know that a "thorn in the side" is a great blessing also.

God uses it like a bit in the mouth of a horse, when we give Him our permission to do so.

Once we stop bucking (the Godly system) and settle into God's Will, we don't notice the bit and one day we find He has taken it off.

Every day we should be trusting the Lord and growing more like Him; turning our backs on the old and putting on the new man in Christ because of what He has done for us.

He is our Saviour because He has saved us from the wrath of God; the punishment that was ours has been paid.

Walk in that reality.

Get up in the morning and spiritully place that bit in your mouth and trust Him to lead and guide you.

Take time to read the Word of God to learn of God and He will use those words to guide you.

And, thank Him Who died for you, Jesus; so you may be free from the clutches of satan.
