Confess

Friend, I hope you have confessed that you believe Jesus to be the Son of God.

The disciple John tells us "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God." 1John 4:15

This alone is what we need for our soul.

It is soul talk. Spirit to our spirit, Truth.

Father God desires that we acknowledge His Son, Whom He sent to be payment for our sins.

The Sacrifice of the Father's Son, a Pure and Holy Sacrifice is sufficent to fulfill the Law which calls for death for sin.

The biggest Sin which will not be Forgiven is to not believe in what His Son did for us. 

When Jesus was crucified He paid for all our sins and when we do not acknowledge the One Who died for us, we are being rebellious against God and desiring to have our own beliefs which are truly not our own, but satan's.

We realize this when we repent of our sin, and confess of our thankfulness for the Holy Forgiveness that has paid for our sins. This is because the only payment for sin that would be accepted by Holy God has to be from One who is sinless.

Sinless is what Jesus was and is. He alone could be the Sacrifice for all of the sins of everyone ever on earth.

We like to believe that we are innocent and only some of us are sinners. But, friend, this is not so. God Almighty says that we are all sinners.

It is required of us in this life, to realize we are sinners in need of a Saviour. Our heart knows we are desperately wicked but the mind likes to listen to satan.

When we are ready to meet our Saviour, He is ready to Forgive us.

Simply say, "I confess that I believe Jesus is the Son of God Who died for my sins at Calvary," if your heart is telling you that it is Truth.
