Ephesians 4:14

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. Ephesians 4:14 kjv

The Holy Spirit is instructing us here in the verse from Ephesians.  He is saying "Do not be a child forever, in the faith to which you have been called."

He warns of the cunning and crafty ways of evil and tells us that they wish to deceive. And deceived we will be if we do not grow in faith.  If we are to be children, we will lose the spiritual ground we have, because our heads will be easily turned by workers of darkness who perceive our nature, and what it is that will turn our head.

Evil poses as peace, light, life, fun and beauty - but it is all false.  It has no real value and can take years for us to realize we have been deceived.

There is one Way.  It is through the atoning death and resurrection of the Son of God and His name is Jesus, Yeshua, the Christ, Saviour, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, the Peacemaker.

He is not an angel, He is God.

He is not merely a prophet or teacher although He does those things to perfection unlike other mortal men and women who teach and prophesy yet, who are flawed.

When we recognize Him and stand with Him in faith - then we see real Beauty, Peace, Light, Life, Truth etc., and we will recognize the error in our previous thinking.  Over time the scales will fall.  Truth will prevail.

Isn't this what you want?  I think everyone yearns for Truth and all of it's enveloping qualities. 

Stop and do not go a minute further in your old thinking until you have given Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit a chance to walk and talk with you.
