Ephesians 4:17-19

Friend the Apostle Paul wrote the following words to the believers in Ephesus, while he was in prison.

Ephesians 4:17-19

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

18Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

19Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Friend, the above verses are the description of mankind today even though it pertained to the believers of the day.

Believers, whom Paul had testified to, and had "won" to Christ.

God's Word, speaks down through the ages.

We are foolish people.

We do not seek God as we should.

We love ourselves; we are immoral, greedy, ignorant, vain and we cause others to follow after us.

Paul speaks in Ephesians of the wonderful Gift of God; GRACE.

Yes, God's Grace towards mankind.

He has no real need to include any one of us in His Kingdom; having the God Ability to destroy any of us at any time due to our imperfection.

Paul tells them in so many words, that they are strangers and pilgrims on this earth but have a home in Heaven.

This dear friend, is an amazing thing for us to hold close to our heart.

When troubles arise; when we're offended, wrongly accused, attacked physically; all the evil things that are perpetrated upon us everyday, we can know deep in our hearts, that we are loved and cared for becaue we are Heavenly people.

We come from the Heavenly Kingdom; we are abiding on this earth.

We have access to The Kingdom through what Christ did for us on the Cross.

His Blood shed for us is the proof to God, when He sees it upon us (believers,) that He automatically is FOR us and never against us!

He will fight for us.

His Will and Way will be our will and way.

He will walk with us through the consequences of our sin filled lives.

He will teach and grow us up into a useful vessel He can use.

Don't you want that, friend?
