Excuses, Decisions & Emotions

Friend, the believer must walk in the Will of God.

He must be obedient to God's Law.

To some this sounds harsh, - a harsh taskmaster.

But in reality, once we have gained Knowledge through reading His Word, and entering into prayer in His Presence, we come to see how Beautiful, Generous, Loving, Forgiving and Truthful, God is.

We also see how foolish, stupid and reckless we were.

To God the hate we felt for Him is foolishness.

The sin we engaged in was stupid.

And our walking on the wrong path was reckless.

He understands.

We have Free Will to do as we please; He gave it to us, but He hopes and asks us to hand it back to Him, and He asks us to walk in His Will, where we gain so much more both in this life and the Life to come.

He also knows every time and way that evil enticed us.

He knows the reasoning we used to embark on the sinful path, yet is willing to Forgive us, when we recognize, that His Son paid the Price for our sins.

He took on His Body and Spirit, the Punishment required by Law.

His Punishment was for each of us; not one punishment that covered us all, but One Punishment meted out in Full Measure for each and every sin for each and every person - all at once.

Think of how much pressure was brought to bear on Him emotionally and physically. The Word of God says that He spontaneously bled out of his skin from the sheer terror and torture.

It was enormous, friend.

He suffered brutally for you and me and everyone God saw fit to have Him pay the price.

The Bible tells us of the anguish of the Son and Father, but they went ahead anyway to save us from ourselves and satan.

Why? They could create more people or spirits; why do they Save us?

It's because They Love us and when we were created; from the beginning, God has Loved us.

He sees the injustices done to us as children right through till the day we die.

Some souls He decrees shall have life on earth, are denied it through the wickedness of man. So the evil starts even before we are born with parents selfishly denying us life.

But He wants us to focus on Him, Jesus and The Spirit, to see us through the trials which must come because we set in motion those trials by being sinful.

God asks us to know Him and stop making excuses.

He will move mountains for us, in our walk with Him, if we will let Him be the One Who guides and directs our thoughts, our will.

We will make better decisions if we allow Him to work out His Good in us.

And friend, our emotions are our worst enemy.

They take us into territory we should stay away from, in most cases.

If we walk in His Will, we will have a spirit filled life.

One that is full and purposeful, while knowing we are not alone. And when we die, we will have a home and eternal life in the Kingdom, free from regrets, and sorrow and pain.

God is concerned with our will, because it is ruled by emotions, and with emotion we can be led by satan and make foolsh decisions.

God wants us to be intelligent beings, who have loving warm hearts for all mankind, and all his creation. He wants us to know His Word, to hide it in our hearts and mind, so He can use those Words to guide us in His Will.

When a believer hears "My Grace is sufficient for you" when faced with a tough trial, we can be sure it is God "speaking" to us because this is not something satan would say.

2 Corinthians 12:9 My Grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made Perfect in weakness.

Apostle Paul continues to write ...Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the Power of Christ may rest upon me.

Paul shows how to surrender to God's Will.

Just glory in the Greatness of Christ Jesus, knowing He can and will do all things necessary to bring about a Good outcome for you in the weakness you have, or trial you face. Be thankful for the infirmity as it will bring you close to Christ and you will see Him at work in your problem.

Words may fail you, when you look back and realize what God has accomplished for you!

The more Bible verses you hide in your heart and mind, the more Father, Son and Spirit are able to communicate with you.
