Forgiveness
Friend, many people delay receiving Forgiveness from Jesus because they think they will continue being sinful, or they actually want to continue being sinful.
Some think God and His Way is too harsh.
Others think they are doomed anyway.
Some think they have committed a sin that will never be Forgiven.
But many of us are so sick and tired of living the sinful life that we just give up and say, " I want something better. Life has to be better than this. My crazy ways have to stop. I want out yet I do not want to kill myself."
First I will share that there is one sin that is unforgiveable.
It is the sin of an unrepentant heart and a mind that will not allow The Holy Spirit to minister God's Truth to it about Jesus.
It is the sin of rejecting The Son of God's Sacrifice on The Cross.
It is the sin of unbelief, really.
All other sins are Forgiveable.
Jesus told The Disciples that He would send His Spirit to be with the world after He, Jesus, left and that this Spirit would draw man to Him.
We are all offered Forgiveness if we repent from our sins. A true heartfelt repentance shows our Lord that we want a changed heart and mind.
He is able to discern our motives and truly knows us better than we even know ourselves, for we lie to ourselves and each other.
Jesus is waiting for the moment we surrender our "self" to Him.
When we do, all Heaven's inhabitants rejoice.
Oh, the things He has in store for us. He will walk us through the consequences of our previously chosen circumstances. He will grow us spiritually in the inner man. This is where He works.
He does not control us but it is we who should hand over all control to Him.
Trust Him and His Will for us because He is Good and Perfect in all He does.
Yes some things may hurt a little in the flesh for a minute; but don't forget we defiantly ran head first into all that mess, and now we need Him to help extract us from it.
Through this process He proves His Love and Faithfulness to us. He never leaves us. We have given Him the right to our soul, because we believe in His Authority and Perfection.
We grow, we learn many Godly things, we recover, we love fully, we become new in spirit and soul while still having the body we beat up very badly, as a witness for the world, of what He has done in our lives.
We receive Holy Forgiveness. We may stumble but we are encouraged by The Spirit to talk to Jesus as a friend and ask for help in the matter, and then to continue walking with Him.
In this way we become one with Him.
It's called a personal relationship.
We talk to Him and He listens and when we listen, we will hear Him through a still smalll voice, through reading The Scriptures where He speaks volumes to us, and sometimes through other souls He has saved, we receive nourishment that only Jesus could have known we needed.
It's all amazing and wonderous, friend.
Join me as a child of The Living God, Jesus, and accept His outsretched Hand.
