Galations 5:1 kjv

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Gal. 5:1 kjv

Paul the Apostle of Jesus Christ, chosen by Him on the road to Damascus after He was resurrected, gives us this advice today.

He is saying we have a liberty or freedom which Christ has given us because of our belief in Him.  Paul says to not look back to the previous ways of sin or thinking which we engaged in before coming to know Jesus. 

He tells us to "stand fast " or "be strong" in the faith, which we have received as a Gift from God the Father through His Son Jesus; with the help of the Holy Spirit opening our eyes to see that Jesus is our Saviour; and who has redeemed us from the old way of sinfullness where we would never have been accepted by God.

Also Paul speaks to us of not being entangled in the Law of the Old Testament and thinking that it alone will give us access to the Father and Heaven. 

Paul tells us in verse 6 that faith is everything.

So, my Friend, practise faith in Jesus.
