God's Way

There are so many thoughts we have about God that are incorrect.

They come from a judgemental place.

Mankind protests in egomanical ignorance thinking it is brilliant.

"God has to be Good and Truthful." ( He is, but one who would say this believes He is not!)

"God isn't fair!"

"God likes bloodshed."

"God has not demonstrated love towards me."

"How could there be a God, He doesn't show Himself."

"If there is a God, why do bad things happen at all?"

"If I was God, I'd do things "this way" and "that way."

"Why would God allow sickness and suffering if He exists?"

"It's just a fairy tale."

"I've read the Bible. No big deal. Nothing there for me."

"I gave Him a chance and prayed and prayed and nothing changed."

"Christians are stupid and I'd never want to be like them."

"God expects too much; I want to live my way."

"I believe in angels but not God."

"Jesus was just a man and the Resurrection is a lie."

These are just a few things I've heard in 60 years.

But I've also seen some of the people who have said one or two of those things, give their soul to Jesus and walk as a follower of Him.

They found Forgiveness in the depths of their soul and spirit.

They came as they were. Rebellious sinners.

He accepted them and they know it deep in their heart and mind.

They live and breathe Him, they see Him in the world now with new eyes; the scales having fallen off.

He is answering their questions as they go on with life on earth.

They are being sanctified, as am I.

It's a wonderful Way He has made. 

He has a true relationship with us. 

Because He knows us intimately, we are able to speak to Him about everything, and He is the best listener and advisor.

His Holy Spirit becomes our Comforter and Counsellor.

Jesus is our Holy Intercessor to The Father, The Judge.

He is our Advocate.

He is our Saviour and Lord.

King Jesus.
