God's Way is Good

Friend, many are the "good" people in the world.

Most of us think of our parents as "good."

We have friends and family that we recognise as being "good people."

We also think of ourselves as good by dusting aside all the minor indiscretions; the lies, the acts of rebellion, the filling of our body with mind altering substances, the infidelity, and so much more; as if they are "nothing," not sinful.

Yes, those sins are forgivable, but what state does a person have to be in, to be Forgiven by Holy and Lawful God?

His Word tells us that Holy means Pure and that means "no sin."

The smallest sin is equal to the largest! Yikes!

What does He require of us to be Forgiven?

There must be something.

It is evident that bad things often happen for what we think is "no reason."

Could these bad things be the result of our ungodliness; our sinful ways?

Friend, God cannot condone all our sin. 

It's too much and He knows who is behind it.

He knows the depths of depravity that satan will go to in catching us in his net of evil.

God warns us in His Word.

1 Peter 5:8 

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

 

In the above Scripture Verse, the Disciple Peter through the Holy Spirit's encouraging, advises all believers to be sober in all our ways; to be vigiliant of all that is happening around us, because we have an adversary who seeks our demise, who does not want us to be with The Lord. This adversary is like a roaring lion, seeking to tear apart, rip to shreds and devour all of God's created beings who are made in His Likeness.

That's us, friend; the human race.

The devil never stops working to catch us, toy and play with us, use his claws to rip us and eventually lead us to a slow and painful, untimely death; before we come to the realisation that God loves us.

He keeps us from our destiny that God has planned for us.

He, satan, devises plans for each of us to never be exposed to God, His Teachings, His Love, His Son.

But, because of our own free will; a Gift from Him, we many times go astray from God at an early age, following fter the lures of satan, causing ourselves untold heartaches once we are "caught" by the devil and his demonic army.

We won't listen to parents or authority. We stubbornly do our own thing even when we see the consequences are not good. 

We continue down the winding roads of doom and gloom believing there is no God, because He, God, is not giving to us all the good things we think we should have; because in our deluded state we think we are sinless.

We love to follow after the demons who entice us; try to corrall us in another paddock from the peaceful, serene and Godly paddock where our Lord tends to us as The Good Shepherd; taking care of our every need.

The demons open the gates of lust; entice us with food that will eventually kill us, gluttony; introduce us to alcohol and drugs in the name of entertainment and enjoyment for the mind and body; and show us things we should not see in movies, videos, games and books.

They snatch us off the street, right under loved ones noses and demean and degrade us! 

The things they have devised for our downfall are to infinity!

Does God want us to have a dull life?

No!

He desires us to enjoy life where evil lusts are not the pinnacle we attain to.

There is much He wants to share with us. 

He gives great gifts as talents, that we should share with one another. 

The blessings we could receive from Him if only we lived how He made us to live!

But friend, God is not a fool. And, He won't be mocked; so be very careful what you say to the One who to you does not exist, because your comings and goings are recorded. 

You will not be able to deny anything!

However, friend, today is a good day for you if you are an unbeliever!

Yes, today is the day that Christ is revealing to you, His Great Act of Love for you.

Today, right now, you can be Forgiven by Holy God.

Your heart and mind must be in agreement that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour and Redeemer.

You must be willing to say your belief of "there is no God", is wrong.

You must be willing to say that you are sorry for all the sins that helped nail God's Son to the Cross at Calvary.

You must understand that you are not Good according to God's Law.

He died for all those souls He created in His Likeness, past present and future generations until He comes again.

You must be ready to try with His Help through the Holy Spirit who will come and live in you to convict and uplift you.

Are you ready, friend?
