Harboring Unforgiveness
Friend, in Romans, the Apostle Paul left a message for us to love others as that fulfills the Law.
Many people today take this verse and run with it, saying we love others, and we practise mindfulness, and we hold our anger in, and we blame the devil, and so forth.
But how can we love others when we hold unforgiveness and anger and bitterness in our hearts?
This is a serious question we all need to mull over in our minds and hearts.
If we have not forgiven another who has hurt us, and we say we love others; does that count as fulfilling The Law of God?
It does not, friend.
I know. The Holy Spirit and my dear Lord have to remind me; as a lifetime like many others, has been filled with hurts.
Try very hard to face this situation. Ask The Holy Spirit to strenghen your resolve; for in Christ we have a Helper.
It could be the undoing of your Salvation.
Forgiveness is required because Christ died to Forgive our most grievious sins.
Yes they are forgotten and at the deep of the ocean but are we then forgiving those who hurt us and caused us to sin?
Are we better than the Innocent Jesus?
Us, the sinful human who needed a Saviour?
Us, who repented of numerous sin?
Us who received Holy Complete Forgiveness, will not forgive our brother or sister of humankind?
No, study this throughout the Bible and you will find that we must be obedient to The Father as Jesus was, and forgive those who have trespassed against us.
Be obedient and fulfil The Law with Christ's Help through The Holy Spirit.
It is pleasing to The Father.
