Harden Not The Heart

06/28/2016 21:19

Friend the Holy Spirit asks us each and every day to soften our hearts and take heed of God's Will concerning us.

God has a Plan for us, yet He has given us free will to choose what we will do with our lives.

It's a paradox.

But God knows those who love Him, will obey His Will for them as best they can. In other words, their hearts and minds will be turned towards Him and will consider His Law and Will, in every decision they make.

Those who do not love Him will do as they please.

In Hebrews the Holy Spirit speaks as follows

Hebrews 3:7b-11

To-day if you will hear His Voice, harden not your hearts, as in the day of provocation in the wilderness when your fathers tempted Me, and saw my Works (Miracles). Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, they do always err in their heart and they have not known My Ways. So I swore in My Heart, they shall not enter into My Rest.

Friend, we should take heed lest we have an evil heart of unbelief. The Israelites saw the Miracles first hand, the Miracles happened to them and still they turned away from God.

Who on earth did they think were creating these Miracles of Provision?

Faith in God is cruicial to any soul having Eternal Life and not eternal death.

The deceitfulness of sin is the glue that hardens our hearts. It enters in all soft and feeling good but in time it begins to harden and affect the heart so that God's Word falls on stony ground, where nothing will grow.

In the softened heart that cherishes it's relationship with Jesus, the Word grows, flowers bloom, the mind is cleansed of all iniquity and renewed, relationships flourish, spiritual growth occurs and joy and happiness in the inner being, become the order of the day, even amongst all the barbs and arrows that the demon world unleashes on the believer.

The believer has a desire to know more and more of what God offers and teaches. God responds to this person. His Love and Care, Kindness and Generosity cover and surround them wherever they go and in any circumstance.

We may not get the answer we hoped for but it will always be the Right Answer for our soul. We will look back over our lifetime and see that God is Good and full of Wisdom. Everyday people have testimonies that are full of God changing them and their circumstances from bad to good.

Today is a new day, full of God's Grace and Mercy for you..

Listen for His Voice speaking to you in this blog and all other Godly publications not the least being the Holy Bible.

There must be belief in the Son, Jesus.

His Blood Sacrifice was for you, as a fitting punishment for your sins.

He died for each of us to be reconciled to the Father's Will.

The Blood Sacrifice of the Perfect Lamb of God is the only thing that would satisfy God. And the Son who created us did it for us.

He did not harden His Heart; do we have the right to harden ours against so great a Sacrifice?
