Humble & Grateful

Friend, it is difficult for the Believer to follow God because we have to agree with God that He is God and we are not.
Our self is like a tiny speck of sand, no bigger than the top of a dressmaker's tiny straight pin; compared to God.
We allow our ego to think that we can spar with God intellectually.
We think we can accept some things and not agree with other things about The Godhead; The Trinity; The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We think on our own; in our own strength we are smarter than God.
Many of us know we are accepting the will of satan and walking with him while professing to be Christian.
Even more think they are fooling God; He doesn't know or see what they are up to in their inner most thoughts!
Oh friend, how foolish!
Nothing escapes the attention of God. Not a single hair falls from our head than He is aware of it. Every thought is an open book to Him.
A true believer is humble before God and the world. They are not proud. Their ego is submitted to God knowing He is the Omniscient and Omnipotent One Above All.
They do not hold back from Him some things for themselves to figure out; they allow Him access to the innermost parts of their being. They want Him to mold them into His Likeness and to follow His Ways.
They know this is the True Way; that His Way is best for them no matter how much it may hurt their persona in the world.
They submit and bow humby before His Throne of Grace and Mercy to obtain all their needs and they receive all they need according to His Will and are brought alive in praise and worship to Him for His Goodness.
He witholds no Good Thing from them but is able to bring all things together for His Good which is no more than what we should want.
His Good before our good.
Our trials come because He desires to have us fully. He desires to cleanse us, and it is in the cleansing that we draw closer to Him and realize His Way is far better than the world's way, even if we end up in the gutter. It's still better than what the world offers; being in the gutter with Him.
Knowing you're an open book before Him at all times; it is better to be humble and grateful now; learn the lesson quickly and avoid many of the trials.
Just reap the benefits of a close relationship with the One Who Loves you more than any other.
In Jesus's Name.
