I Believe

Why are the words "I believe" so hard to say for mankind?

That is all it takes if we are sincere, genuine, repentant for our past denial of Him which is the biggest sin.

But our pride, our ego, our self, our will, stands as a giant wall, against God.

We just want to be "right" in our own fathoming of what the world and our existence is all about.

We are also extremely reluctant to admit any wrongdoing, of any kind; to ourselves and others.

We rationalise and justify our words and actions everyday in our own minds and in our words.

We hate to be told we did something wrong on the job, by friends, in our marriages, by parents and colleagues.

We're just so sure that our way is the best way; and we are right in every way.

We'll argue our case to eternity come.

We'll hold grudges against those who will not agree with us. Even the slightest point.

We'll resort to violence over time for some small slight against us.

We'll even kill to convince ourselves we're right.

Then we'll lie, and cheat, to convice the law that it wasn't us.

We are perfect in our own sight.

We do no wrong. God is wrong to call us sinful; we believe.

This is what we believe before we come to the correct realisations about ourself and the world, through the mindset of Creator, Almighty God of all things.

But God will forgive all that, when we believe in what His Son did at Calvary for us; for that mindset comes straight from the pit of Hell; and He knows it.

God knows satan has filled our thoughts with the lie that God doesn't exist; if there is a God, He is a bad person filled with revenge and hate for mankind; He couldn't be a loving God; there is no "way" to God; Jesus is not His Son; Jesus was only a teacher not worthy to be Son, here try this religion if you're looking for a God, Islam, Hinduism, weather gods, animal gods, mountain gods - take your pick; and the worst of all, work your way to Heaven with good deeds.

Many people say "Yes there must be a God, but He didn't send His Son to die for my sins, because I am not sinful. I do not need His Son to cover for me. He'll see that I am a good person."

But friend, God has spoken through His prophets to us in the Words of The Holy Bible.

He says we are not good. He says that there is not one of us that is good; good by His Definition.

He sees all, friend. He sees the thoughts that are never acted upon, but the intent of the heart and the fierceness of the mind bent on staying alive forever are seen by Him.

Of course we would judge ourself as good!

God sees exactly what brought about every thought. He knew us before we were born into the earth.

He knew us in the womb, He says.

We might say for instance, "I'm not racist," and fully believe we are not, but when we see a face that "offends" our senses, we might think something different. Or when a son or daughter brings home a love they have decided to marry, we might be inwardly "offended" by the person's skin color, or language accent, or religious belief, or any number of tiny traits.

So God sees that. He hears the thinking process that we go through before anything even comes out of our mouth.

He is a Great and Mighty God. He knows all things. He sees all things, He hears all things.

Everything is recorded. He is going to bring out the Book of Life and we will gnash our teeth; knowing it holds every tiny thing we ever did or thought in our lifetime on earth.

We will know when we get to Heaven that all barriers are down. All is open and pure.

How then can we be welcomed into Heaven with all this sin covering us?

Friend, It is only by the Blood of Jesus shed at The Cross falling on us, cleansing us because of what He did there.

He overcame the devil's scheme to snatch souls from Himself, Jesus.

But it is not automatic.

No everyone has a choice to make while alive on the earth.

God has given each of us a "period of time" to make that choice.

Some will deny Jesus's Sacrifice, laughing at what they see as the absurditiy of it.

But friend, The Father created this wonderful foolproof Holy Plan for mankind's souls; to be reunited with Him by their own choice.

Satan knew not that it was coming. He thought He had the big win against God;  he had Jesus killed by God's people that He loved, the Jews.

But God already knew what was going to happen.

His Plan was going to succeed, because He is God, and all of creation would see that His Way, is Perfect.

And, Friend, I have studied His Word, just a a simple human being looking for Truth, and have found God to be The Most Brilliant, Perfect Mind of all the universes and all creation everywhere even things we do not see, must submit to Him as He has created it all.

But friend, do not take my word for it. I am human too and subject to flawed thinking.

Investigate God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit for yourself.

You will find everything you need to know in His Word. It takes some years to come to the full understanding, but very early on, you might find yourself saying, "I believe, forgive me my doubts, and show me Your Way."
