King David's Words - A Selection

04/20/2022 13:07

Friend, the following Scripture Verses are some that tell the story of how King David; a man after God's Own Heart, adressed His God and our Lord.

We too can use these Words when speaking to God. We can memorise those that especially touch our heart and we can be comforted by them; because they are Holy Spirit inspired  -  Spirit speaking to mankind (to you,) through King David.

Psalm 1:6 For The Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalm 2:12b Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.

Psalm 3:3 Thou O Lord, art a shield for me: my glory, and the lifter up of my head.

Psalm 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for Thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

Psalm 5:8 Lead me O Lord, in Thy Righteousness because of my enemies; make Thy Way straight before my face.

Psalm 6:9 The Lord has heard my supplication: the Lord will receive my prayer.

Psalm 7:1 O Lord my God, in Thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me; and deliver  my soul.

Psalm 8:1 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is Thy Name in all the earth! Who has set Thy Glory above the  Heavens.

Psalm 9:7 But the Lord shall endure forever; He has prepared His Throne for Judgment.

Psalm 10:12 Arise O Lord, O God, lift up Thine hand: forget not the humble.

Psalm 11:4 The Lord is in His Holy Temple, the Lord's Throne is in Heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try,    the children of men.

Psalm 12:6 The Words of the Lord are Pure Words, as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Psalm 13:6 I will sing unto the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.

Psalm 14:1 The fool has said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable      works, there is none that doeth Good.

Psalm 15:1 Lord, who shall abide in Thy Tabernacle? Who shall dwell in Thy Holy Hill?

Psalm 16:1 Preserve me O God; for in Thee do I put my trust.

Psalm 17:7 Show Thy marvellous Loving-Kindness, O Thou that savest by Thy Right Hand, them, which put    their trust in Thee, from those that rise up against them.

Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my Rock, and my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my Strength, in Whom I will    trust; my Buckler, and the Horn of my Salvation, and my High Tower.

Psalm 19:1 The Heavens declare the Glory of God; and the firmament show His Handiwork.

Psalm 20:6 Now know I, that the Lord saveth His annointed; He will hear him from His Holy Heaven, with the  Saving Strength of His Right Hand.

Yes friend, our Lord can save us! He can pluck us from the weariness, the overwhelming problems of life by His Saving Strength, when we look to The Cross and accept that He died for us to have a choice, between the rampant wickedness of man, and the loving kindness of God The Father.

Jesus is our Lord, and The Father has appointed Him to be The One through which, all who desire to be with the Father, may come to Him. It is God's Perfect Plan; there is no other Way but through the Death and Resurrection of His Son, Jesus.
