Matthew 13:24b-30
Matthew 13:24b-30
The Kingdom of Heaven is likened unto a man who sowed good seed in his field.
But, while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares (weeds) among the wheat, and went his way.
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, "Sir, didn't thou sow good seed in thy field? Why now does it have tares?
He said unto them, "An enemy has done this."
The servants asked if they should go and gather the tares but the master said, "No, lest ye root up the wheat also."
The Master said, "Let both grow together until the Harvest and I will say to the reapers; Gather ye together first the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them. but gather the wheat into My barn."
Friend did you catch the meaning of Jesus's Words to the Disciples and the multitudes who were gathered to hear His Words?
He was speaking to ordinary people of the land, who understood agriculture so He spoke in a Way that they would understand.
God has sown good seed on to the earth and His enemy, satan has come along and sown his weeds among us and at the end, God will gather all souls, both the wheat and the weeds and separate them.
Some to be burned up and some to be placed in God's Kingdom.
Friend, this is the most simplistic version for the most simplistic minds. The Kingdom of Heaven is so amazing we cannot comprehend it fully from our earthly perspective.
We have to get to a place where we trust God even though we cannot see Him face to face.
When we meditate on Who God is, we find out that He is Good, and loves us like a Father.
We discover His Attributes and Character and begin to realize that the Kingdom must be amazing and beautiful and Perfect.
What He has done for those who will receive His Gift, is to make a Way for us to be Forgiven entirely of all sin. He sent His Only Son to be a Sacrifice for us. To shed the Blood that was required as He showed in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve sinned by agreeing with the devil.
God killed an animal (shed the blood) so they would have a covering.
Yes, one of their precious animal friends had to die so they would not be ashamed. They could cover themselves.
This was the first blood sacrifice and shows us that sin requires a blood sacrifice.
Jesus was our Blood Sacrifice and it's up to us to believe or not.
No other blood sacrifice is accepted. Jesus paid the price once and for all.
Never listen to anyone who tells you that a blood sacrifice is needed for anything. That is demonic in nature.
Will you be a weed that grows wild and spoils others or the wheat that matures and is gathered to enter the Kingdom?
