Meditation

Scripture.  Lead me in Thy Truth, and teach me: for Thou art the God of my salvation; on Thee do I wait all the day. Psalm 25:5  KJV

King David asks the Lord to teach him and throughout this chapter he asks for forgiveness and mercy.

If King David asks for these things from God, how much more should we ask?

To be led in God's Truth requires humbling one's self and soul to God.

It involves placing our life in the hands of the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to mold and bend, fold and fashion a new creature in Christ out of us.

The Spirit sees us as Jesus sees us and He knows what we should be like and He sees how to get us to that point.

The sin is able to be overcome with the Spirit's help.

First, Forgiveness through the accepting of the Lordship of Jesus, then growing spiritually and gaining the spiritual muscles to stop sin in it's tracks.

If we are willing, He is willing to be the potter to our lump of clay.  He will make us into something beautiful in God's sight. This is done through our exposure to the goodness of God through the hearing of God's Word and the keeping of His Commandments when we learn of them.

The world may not think us beautiful but what does the world matter when Almighty God sees us as beautiful?

It is our soul and spirit that God sees.

He sees us clothed in white raiment that signifies we are believers in His Son, in whom He is well pleased, for carrying out the Holy Sacrifice that offers Forgiveness of sins to all who will open their hearts to understanding of the Scriptures.

Yes, the blood of Jesus cleanses us and makes our soul clean. The sins we were embroiled in, are Forgiven and remembered no more.

Do not return to the vices you were once enslaved in. Strive everyday to please the Lord, showing your thankfulness for His Great Gift of Forgiveness.

He suffered your punishment for your crimes against God.

We are measured by the love we have for his Son - what we do in His Son's Name while here on earth.

Prayer
Lord, thank You for Your Truth.  Keep me focused on You and Your Holy Word. Help me to know your Presence and help me to wait on You and to serve You in all things. I give you all my allegiance and I do not want to falter or fall again from Grace. I want to be a blessing to others and hold up the Light for them but only if it is Your Will. Amen.
