Meditation Verse Hebrews 13:15-16

 

Meditation Verse for today
 
Scripture.  By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.  But to do good and to communicate forget not, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Hebrews 13:15-16   KJV

 

This verse tells us that through our love for Jesus, we are able to offer praises to God by words given to us by Jesus.

 

God sees this form of praise to him as a sacrifice. 

 

"Offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually", we are advised.  This state of mind should be with us as we go about our daily lives and should follow us in our sleep and be the first words in the morning.  Praise to God for His Goodness and Love and Mercy and the Grace He gives to us to do what we need to do each day.

 

Develop your own mantra to Jesus, using His name. He is the Name above all names, the Spirit has told us this in God's Word, the Holy Bible..

 

Praise is like holy oil for our joints.  It keeps us flowing in Him without breakdowns, or the jarring of the "cogs" in our mind.

 

Verse 16 tells us to never forget to do good for others and to communicate in Godly conversation, with our fellow man, always giving glory to God.

 

Meditate on these three sacrifices: praise to God with our lips, doing good for others, fellowshipping with others.  Are they not pure, perfect and easy to do?

 

Prayer         
Lord, thank You for this teaching.  Help me to be a person filled with praise for you all the day long, to wake up with words of praise for You on my lips and to do good throughout the day and to tell others that You love them and died for them.  Amen.
