Merciful And Gracious God

Friend, we err if we judge God.

We should not judge Him for any of His Words written in the Bible; or at any time ever, because He is Goodness Itself.

He is being Truthful and it is all written for our edification and learning.

Holy Scripture is Holy and is inspired by the Holy Spirit.

He "spoke" (whispered inaudibly) into the hearts and minds of holy humans from the Beginning of our world, who have written what was put onto their hearts by God and for God to use.

The Holy Bible being one use.

He does not hold back in showing us that there are consequences, for not believing in Him, in His Word.

Therefore it must be necessary for us to know.

A warning from God, told in ways we could understand.

Man has always loved to bring up history from the Old Testament, where we see clans or tribes wiped out, or wars, fights, killings being carried out, to prove a point that religion causes wars, or God is mean and angry, or God doesn't care about all of mankind and other false arguments.

But, God always has a Purpose, and we may not understand that Purpose because it is not a Purpose that we can understand, not having the mind of God or knowing all that is going on in Heaven, and all of creation, as God does; being omnipotent, and omnipresent.

When we read His Word, we should always have an open mind and heart; allow the blinders to fall away from our eyes and unstop the ears.

We should ask the Holy Spirit to help us to know what God intends for us to learn or see or know in the Text.

Humbling ourselves before Holy God, as a child to it's heavenly Father, places us in a position to receive the milk of the Word.

Later as we grow in Knowledge, God allows us to have a bolder knowledge, and we come to know the Bible as a Living Bible because it reveals more deeper thoughts to us, as we shed some of our earthly loves/sins; even in the same passages we once thought spoke so eloquently to us, we learn deeper heart to Heart gems of Beauty and Love as we spend more time immersed in it's pages.

God then begins to feed us the meat of the Word; because we have grown in Spirituality and Understanding.

This means not all Christians are the same.

Just as not all Christians have the same Gifts from God.

The world judges us as if we should be how they think we should be; but God does not.

He knows us individually and designs our Path intricately with plenty of room for our Free Will Gift to be exercised.

Some of us know or are ready to just surrender our will to His Will at the moment of divine transformation from unbeliever to believer, but others press on believing, yet not willing to surrender, or struggling with obedience, to His Law.

God is Merciful.

And God is Gracious.

Believers testify to these qualities of His Character.

His Mercy is new every morning.

He is ready to work with us again, after a day of wanton sinfulness.

A repentant heart receives immediate Forgiveness, and He will work with us to overcome; teaching us, directing us to Godly people He has chosen, showing us passages and verses in His Word where He can reveal Truth to our heart, cause us to know of someone who has indulged in similar sin and who fell further into darkness, or who have been transformed in Godliness, as inspiration to throw away the old self and put on the new.

He knows what we need to hear and know, infinetly more than we do, to accomplish our growth in Heavenly things.

He wants to prepare us, for our new Home after we leave this body, and the time is short; we are rebellious children.

There is no end to the way He will help you to know His Mercy and Grace, Truth and Love, Forgiveness and Healing.

I hope God has already shown you He is Merciful and Gracious.

If not yet, I hope you know Forgiveness is yours; this is the most Merciful and Gracious offering you can receive.

I hope one day you too will say truthfully, "God has been Merciful and Gracious to me, a sinner saved by Grace and Mercy."
