Our Daily Walk
Friend, when we have set aside our schooling and have entered the working world, in our day to day life we rush about trying to fill it with purpose and meaning; we're selfish for our "self" to have all we think it deserves. Our mind is constantly focused on how we want life to happen for us.
Most of all we want to "enjoy" it. Get what we think we deserve. Many of us have goals and plans to acheive those goals. Some of us find we have to find a job, any job, just to stay above homelessness and the ability to stave off hunger.
All thoughts of staying alive, and surviving, somehow for "self."
In the natural world this is normal.
But God has His Plans for us as well. In His Holy Word written under His Holy Spirit direction, He speaks of His Love and Plans for those who believe in Him.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV KJV NIV NLT NKJV ESV For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.
God has made a way for us to be His children. He is saying, I am your Holy Father. My storehouses are full. I have more than enough for you. Come to Me if you are weary of the world. Come to Me if you are sick. Come to Me if you are in need and I will give to you according to your faith and trust in Me.
Friend, because of His Purity and Powerful Perfect Law, He cannot give to the unlawful or unrighteous in abundant measures. He cannot reward them. He wants to but Law cannot take it on. He says there is a Way for mankind to receive from Him, and that is through walking with His Son while on earth.
Learning from Jesus in the campsites along the way, when we stop to muse and meditate on the meaning of life.
We should make time in our busy days to sit at the feet of The Master; the One Who knows all things about The Father, about this earth life, about The Kingdom.
When we decide to do that, the devil gets annoyed and places many roadblocks in the way; but we must stay strong in our will to hear what Jesus is saying.
First we must get a Bible. Then we must open it and begin reading; asking The Holy Spirit for clarification and meaning of the things we find hard to understand. He will guide us through The Word of God. There is more than a lifetime's worth of Holy Knowledge for us to attain in God's Word.
Life is short, we must start now, today!
