Friend, this life gives us a chance to reconnect with God, to find out who God is and to become full of faith in Him.

To reconcile with Him.

Think about that statement.

See if you can dispute it.

If you ultimately cannot; could it be Truth?

The Bible says, He can be found if we truly seek Him with a heart ready to know Truth.

Many of us seek Him when we have lived a ruinous life.

Our soul and spirit is battered and bruised; sometimes our body is all used up also.

We come to Him crawling on the ground, hungry, tired and dissillusioned.

Is this the state we want to approach God, Ruler of all things?

Mankind is funny in this way; we know there is a God yet many of us don't allow Him to be our God for decades as we run around being silly fools, tripping over ourselves to find hiding places away from Him.

But friend, we are His. Our soul is not our own.

Only God and satan are able to claim it.

We are beholding to one or the other!

If not God, then we are satan's prize.

As for me, my soul belongs to The Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, The Word.

At any time in our life we have the right to make this claim.

God's Law applies to satan just as much as it applies to us.

Satan because of his position in Heaven, although He has been banished from Heaven, he still has the title of prince of the power of the air over earth.

Ephesians 2:2

“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”

Father God,

Praise Your Holy Name. Help us to come to You in faith through the work done on the Cross by Your Son. Help us to see our own sin is what nailed Him there. Help us Jesus to understand everything about You. Help us to know we are sinners in need of a Saviour. We desire to be reconciled, renewed in mind and heart and walk the rest of our days with You knowing we are Saved by Your Grace and Mercy because we choose to know You.Teach and Guide us Holy Spirit according to the Will of our Lord whom we know to be Perfection, Amazing and full of Love and Truth. Amen.
