The Bible

Friend, nothing bad is going to happen if you read The Bible.

Many have read it and nothing has changed for them at all.

They are stuck on not believing and therefore The Message of The Cross was not found by them.

They came with doubting hearts and worked with evil to find faults (so they thought).

But there is no fault in God. He is Pure and He is Truth, therefore He is Trustworthy.

When we read His Word with a desire to know Truth, and a heart ready to believe that God is Good and True, we will find gems of verses that speak Truth to our heart, and our mind will begin to have thoughts of how God's Kingdom Rule operates and runs perfectly.

We will find out about satan, the devil, the accuser of our souls, the hater of God's Creation of Goodness and Light.

We will see how God had a Plan to outwit satan at The Cross, to Redeem His people on earth out of the darkness of satan, and into the Light of Heaven.

Why won't you read The Bible?

We don't have an answer.

It's because satan keeps us from it. He has a myriad of reasons he puts before us. It's hard to defy him. He's relentless.

It takes a brave soul to open The Bible and start reading.

First if you're not aware The Bible is made of  66 Books; all of which are very small.

Some are accounts of God's Work with the Israelites who were held in bondage as slaves in Egypt. There's the written account of Abraham and the beginning of the Israelites being set apart for God, from the rest of the inhabitants of the world who were very evil in all they did.

There's the account of Noah and The Ark.

There's the Psalms of David and others.

Also the story of the Kings of Israel who were allowed by God, because they didn't want a God they couldn't see.

Then the Prophets who were visited by The Holy Spirit and given glimpses into the future of a coming King (Jesus.)

In the New Testament there are accounts written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter, the Disciples who walked with Jesus for three and a half years; Paul the Apostle's letter to the early churches he started, even a letter written by James the brother of Jesus; plus others including The Revelation, the last Book, by Disciple John.

The Bible can be picked up and opened anywhere and a seeking heart will glean Holy Knowledge.

It's a Book when understanding comes, begins to speak of Good and Wonderful things that we hold close to our heart for comfort and consolation, even guidance throughout our days.

It is like no other, and that is because it was written by The Father and Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Who gave visions and inward hearing to faithful men of old times.

In reading this we find that God will speak to us both through His Word and directly to us according to our faith in Him by using His Word to show it is Him.

It will give you a lot to think about; and The Spirit will answer your questions.
