The Great Chasm

Friend, life is hard to explain; and to write words that will speak to our heart is even more difficult. 

We're all so different.

And even though we follow or group together like with like, we still want to stand apart. This is because we are never entirely the same in thought, manner, deed, looks, speech, thought, beliefs, tribe and culture.

We are all individuals even within the aforementioned classes.

God knows!

He made man and woman, and said He had created "man," one race of people, yet they (the two,) were different from the very beginning. Adam was not the one enticed by the "serpent" in the Garden. So in this, he was not like Eve.

He was with Eve and heard what the serpent said.

GENESIS 3:1-6

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Eve by her own Free Will self, chose to disobey God's one command to her.  

Secondly, Adam chose to join Eve in tasting the fruit; even though he knew it was against God's command. And the eternal life that was their's would be available to them no more; in the flesh, on earth. The flesh would die on earth, and a new type of life would be had by humankind in this world; one with a new god, satan, for that is what God was warning them against. They would die; whereas before eating of the fruit they were destined to live forevermore on earth; in peace, multiply and enjoy The Garden and full communion with The Father Creator.

The devil brings pain and suffering, and by our association with him, and that of our forbears; for we are tainted by their choices too, we will experience all he has to offer, if we do not change course, and look to God as our Ultimate King.

Two different scenarios: right from the beginning of mankind.

Now as we have multiplied into the billions of souls on earth not to mention the billions that have come and gone, there is a huge complex structure of varying degrees of belief systems, structured into mankind, through generational family lines of teaching in all areas of life.

Some glorify and edify God; living by His Word.

But many of mankind, live sinful, indulging in every type of sinful behaviour; which bring us much pain and suffering.

The devil is very happy with that outcome!

Satan knows God is limitless, and every time a new soul is born, he sets out to make sure it never gets to know it's Creator and Saviour.

He instills a belief that there is no God. He has devised many "ways" for us to understand our world and what comes after we die, but friend, they are all untrue for he is a liar of the highest order; knowing much more than we mere mortals. To him, we are easy fish to catch; and to catch us, is his favourite pastime.

All this is to say there is a Great Chasm between  souls in torment and suffering on the side of satan, who pricks and prods us continually goading us to point the finger at God in anger and hate; and there across the chasm we see the Beauty, Love and Peace that seems so hard to reach, let alone be there to enjoy the benefits.

Yes, friend, there is a Great Chasm between God and mankind.

But it is a lie from the devil that you are chained forevermore to his prison on the other side of the chasm from God's Kingdom, and will never be good enough for God to Forgive.

That's a Big Lie!

At any moment; a brief lightning strike of insight, a Word of God we hear from a song or sermon; a visit from a saved soul to testify the Way out, we have a God-given Right to choose to leave satan behind, and accept God's Son's Sacrifice for us, as the cost of our soul's punishment that we would have had to pay.

As many souls as there are; there is a Way for each one. Jesus died for all to have a Way. You and I included in our dirty rags of sinful living draped all around us. 

We do not have to be cleansed first. He does that while we are living sinful.

This is God's Promise.

The Great Chasm has a "bridge" over it. 

Satan keeps it covered in whatever way he can, but it is there, and it is for you.

Jesus Christ died for you; He has laid down across the chasm, and if you believe, you will not walk in terror or fear, across that Great Divide; but will joyfully run, tumble and jump in love for what He has done for you.

He made The One and Only Way by the shedding of His Holy Blood as a Sacrifice, for the offences against Father God, that you have wilfully carried out.

Believe it. It is God's Truth. It was the Only Way to reconcile you to Himself; to show all Heaven that He is a Just God. Sin has a Punishment.

When you are at your wit's end, your last straw, the end of your rope; He has His Hand out to you. 

If you believe, just take it. Tell Him you are sorry for your sinful lifestyle and choices. 

Tell Him you want no more of that. 

He searches the depths of your soul, to find your truth and know if you truly have repented, if so, He writes your name in the believer's Book of Life; and calls you, His.

He will be Your God, and Way, to The Father's Kingdom in Heaven in your afterlife where your soul and spirit will have Everlasting Life with Him.
