There Is No Greater Love

Friend, we all suffer so much in so many ways!

Life is not easy. We chase after money and things which the pleasure thereof is fleeting; requiring more money and things.

And those things we think give us entrance to a better life; nicer clothes, latest model transportation, entertainments, travel and so forth.

To keep our things we will do almost anything, and some of us will do anything and everything!

Some will kill someone they once loved; in order to keep the money they have earned, or even to take money and things they haven't earned themselves.

Thievery, robbery, burglary, assault, murder, killing of another human being to get what they want, not necessarily what they own.

We become depressed because we can't keep up with our peers. We work hard and it's not enough. We desire better jobs, better accomodation, better and more material things because we think those will make us happy.

Yet we see that those who have "made it" by fame, skill, talent, education, inheritance still have the same problems and issues.  Many of them fight desperately to keep what they consider theirs, well earned, hard fought for.

But still they're not happy, content. They want a day off but fame, notoriety, the job calls, "No, you must jump!"

In all of their life they do not feel loved. There's a Big Love they know they are missing.

They have the spouse and kids, the house, car, boat, vacations. The children love them yet still: emptiness, sadness.

Maybe the next vacation to a far off distant land will relieve the stress, make them feel better.

But that didn't do it either!

When all these things come to this point there is only one other Way.

That is where the road ends; at a Dead End.

There's a Sign at the Dead End.

It's the Sign of The Cross.

It's glowing golden and all around is darkness.

This is where we must stop and consider The Meaning of The Cross.

Yes it's about Jesus Who died on The Cross, for God's Plan of Redemption via a New Covenant with man, to lawfully give to any who will come to be redeemed, a Way to do so.

Every morning, our Good God is saying to us, "Look to The Cross."

That's where His Son died for us to have a Greater Love. To have a Saviour Redeemer.

We should have thankful hearts for this Great Gift from God; for this life, for a Way of Forgiveness, for this Great Love.

If we do not love The Son we are saying to God that we aren't appreciative, thankful or grateful for His Great Plan to redeem us which cost Him Great Sorrow. His Son's Death.

Be thankful, friend.
