What Kind Of Love

Friend, today we Christians celebrate as one all over the world, that God so loved us, that He sent His Only Son from His Kingdom of Majesty and Power, into this world under the prince of the power of the air of the earth, (satan - where he had been banished by God) to be born as a babe, to experience our human condition and to one day be tortured and crucified by us.

God had a Plan in bringing Jesus into our world. 

He prophesied the coming Saviour of the world first in the Old Testament, to the Holy Prophets.

God would add to the Law a New Covenant, because we had gone astray and were in need of a Saviour.

What kind of love is this?

God Himself will be born as a babe in human form subject to temptation, revenge, anger, hatred, and death as we experience it.

Jesus God came as both God and man.

He experienced our growing from childhood into adulthood as we do.

He experienced our emotions, our desperate needs, our hunger and thirst.

He did not live in a palace or have every amenity.

What kind of love is this?

Friend, it is Holy Love, Agappe Love that God has for us, His Creation.

Christmas is a time of celebration because we see that God Loves us with a Holy Love; a Father's Love.

We celebrate because we understand the Great Gift He has given to us; His Own Son, Who would one day be punished by God in our place for our sins even though He was sinless. Innocent.

We celebrate because God is Good.

We celebrate because God is Love.

It's simple, not complicated.

God is Good, God is Love.
