Who God Calls A Fool

02/10/2018 13:59

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowledge: but fools despise Wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7

He that utters a slander/lie, is a fool. Proverbs 10:18

But it is an abomination to fools, to depart from evil. Proverbs 13:19

Fools make a mock at sin; but among the righteous there is Favour. Proverbs 14:9

Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has Understanding; but that which is in the midst of fools, is made known. Proverbs 14:33   (Believers with Wisdom keep counsel with God and do not utter slanderous things. But fools keep no counsel and cause problems.)

A fool despises his Father's Instruction; but he that regards reproof is prudent. Proverbs 15:5

Friend, God wants us to understand our situation here on earth.

He sets out plainly in The Word Of God, that He created us; that there is a Holy Law we are bound by; that when we do not live within the Law this is called sin and, there is punishment for sin.

The above verses are some from the Bible, His Word for us.

He is basically speaking Truth to us; showing us what is acceptable and what is not; weaving His Truth into stories of fact and Truth that will speak to our situations; helped by the Spirit of God when we accept that God is All in All.

He is The Holy Father Who Loves all His creation and desires to have us turn our faces to Him; to get to know Him and to love Him. He is The Word of God and He is The Holy Spirit.

Triune God.

Friend, this takes time for us to turn to Him; we have Free Will, a Gift of God to us, and all of us have gone astray and have roamed in the sinful world far too long!  We love our sin and don't realize how far we have gone down the unrighteous path.

Some of us even think we have no sin!

Today, right now, we can accept the Son, as our Saviour and be Forgiven by God for our sins; have them all absolved, washed away and forgotten by Him.

Going forward from this great day of Forgiveness, we will be reminded by evil of recent sins or long forgotten sins but we should not walk in anxiety about them, because when God Forgives, it is Law, it is Whole (Holy).

Man does not forgive in the same way.

We still carry resentments.

It's hard for us to conceptualize when satan prods us with the memories of our sinful past; that we have been fully Forgiven by a Holy God.

Don't be foolish, believe what God says!

God (Jesus) died so we may be free from anxieties and resentments as well as sin.

This is why Christians say they have been "set free".

The bondage of evil's chains have been broken, and have fallen to the ground, having no more power over you, unless with your free will, you take those chains up again.

And, if we turn from God, not believing His Sacrifice covers all our sin, and do not do the Will of Him Who has Forgiven us, we're not listening to the Holy Spirit and this is not good for us.

This is foolish behaviour to listen to satan, and not listen to the One Who died for us to be free from satan.

While we live and breathe we do have work of the spirit to do in our hearts, mind and body.

Our spirit must be in tune with the Holy Spirit.

God asks us to follow Him, know Him, read His Word, speak to Him in prayer, worship Him, listen to the Spirit, and change our ways from sinful to His, through the reading of the Word, and agreeing with the Spirit of God.

If we love God, we will be enlightened by what His word says, and how it speaks to our heart and mind like no other writings have.

That's because the Holy Spirit is with us when we read it.

God has not left us alone, He has sent the Spirit to be with us here as Counsellor, Friend, Helper and Teacher.

Wouldn't it be foolish to ignore all these great and powerful realities for our lives?

God desires that we think about Him.

The "Who," "How," "What," 'When," and "Why" questions about Him and His Holiness.

God wants good things for us and to put off or deny Him; we are being fools, friend!

The Truth is available to us when we show God we want to know.
