Why Be Afraid Of The Bible?

Friend, many people say things that sound like they have read the Holy Bible but yet there is not a shred of Truth in what they say and that alone proves to the believer who does read God's Word, that they haven't read it.

For instance, " He's not a Christian because I saw him say/do this or that," and, "That's not Christian, the Bible says so."

Yet, they have never read the Bible, many never even read a single Scripture Verse.

There is nothing that bears witness to them being correct about what they have said, but yet hundreds, if not thousands, will agree with their statement.

Statements like; "That's not Christian," or "That's not the way a Christian should do it," are said in surety that they are correct.

They see the life of a Chrstian as being exactly like Jesus, and they are correct to expect that to be the case, but a Christian is just like everyone else, in that they are human, and they are sinful, even after being born again.

Sadly these ways of thinking keep many from even considering choosing to believe in Jesus.

It seems too much to expect to become like Christ. They know He is Perfect beyond what they themselves could accomplish; because they actually want to live continuing on in their sinful ways.

Some actually try to live a good and decent existence, and believe that God will see that and say, "Oh yes, I saw you trying so that's ok, come into My Kingdom and live among My Perfected beings, even though by My Standards, you are extremely sinful."

Really! Are they forgetting that He banished all evil from His Kingdom in Heaven, unless He calls them before Him to give an account?

God's Plan is coming into existence every day. Things are moving towards His Ultimate Plan for everything He has created.

We are but one of His creations.

Think of a Great Engine that never stops; that's our Mighty God. He doesn't sleep. He Is, and everything is connected to Him. He cannot be explained really. And He doesn't have to explain Himself to us.

It is enough for us to know He Is. He created us and the world/earth we live in. He provided everything for us, and gave to us an autonomy that is able to create and live through Him.

He placed within our hearts a space, a Throne Room so to speak, for Himself; where He wishes to be able to commune with us at all times.

This is His Will, yet He gave us Free Will as a Gift; so that we could never say, "You made me do this" or any other type of accusation.

His Perfect Way for us is described in His Word to us.

In His Perfection He has written His Story for us, a type of Love Letter from a Father/Saviour Who desires to have us come to Him as a child willing to heed His Advice and believe in Him.

The Bible tells us of God's Plan to come to earth to make a Way for us, His Treasured Creation. It shows how long suffering He is towards us. It tells of His Perfection. How He helps us when we call on Him, and when we are walking according to His Will.

It speaks of being born again and how that is the Way for us. The Way that cuts off the influence of Satan and his demonic army in an individual's life.

It reveals God as our Saviour because of His Love and Perfect Nature.

The Bible is nothing to be afraid of. Yes it may convict one of the sin in their life but it will not make anyone repent. That is up to us. We have Free Will. We have choice.

The only chains of bondage we have on us are those from satan and satan threw away the key.

But Jesus made a Way for those chains to be broken; so they fall to the ground, no longer binding us in any way.

God outsmarted satan with a New Covenant!

Read about it all in The Disciples Words beginning in the New Testament.

He came to save us from the bondage of satan's sadistic evil disease and suffering cult of Hell.
