Wounded and Corrupted Soul

Friend, the world offers us many things to try, to taste, to see, and to feel.

Almighty God asks us to taste of His Goodness.

Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the Lord is Good.

The world's offerings and enticements lead us into wickedness.

1 Corinthians 10:23 “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.” 

God has given humankind the Gift of Free Will allowing us all, according to His Law, to be able to choose whatever we want to do. 

But in Corinthians we find that He has told us that not everything the world has to offer is good for us; expedient. 

He further remarks that some things we may choose are not good for our soul's learning. They will not edify our experience according to what He desires for us. 

Yet we have the free will to choose those things. But He desires for us, that we be reunited with Him in Righteousness through His Son's Sacrifice.

He knows that the world offers corruption and that satan who is the ruler of this world until he is finally dealt the death blow by God, uses his demonic army of fallen angels to entice our body and soul into following after the earthly desires and addictions that will wound us; he (satan) hopes, beyond our ability to repent.

But, God has given us a Way that we may repent, when we realize that we have gone too far and are in need of a Saviour. 

He knows that many of us will accept the Holy Sacrifice, even though we cannot see Him; because we know deep in our heart and mind that we have been wounded and corrupted and that God Who Is Great and Mighty can deliver us from evil clutches.
